BUSINESS

——————————————

The room is elegant, with dark wood paneling and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of the city skyline. The boardroom table is long and glossy, with sophisticated chairs neatly arranged around it.

Seated at the head of the table is Mr. Farsi, a middle-aged man, CEO of the Al-Farsi motors, a rising automobile company in the Kingdom that specializes in luxury and convenient vehicles. To his right sits Ms. Ibrahim, the Director of Business Development. Across from them seats Ruslan with his personal assistant by his right; Harper.

Mr. Farsi sits tall in his chair, his voice steady and authoritative as he addresses Ruslan. “Mr. Zenon, let me be clear. Our vision is to establish Al-Farsi Motors as the premier vehicle brand in the Kingdom,” he says, pausing a bit before he speaks again.

“We’ve already secured key partnerships with top technology providers, and our first luxury EV model, the Falcon, is set to launch in six months. We are not just competing locally; we’re positioning ourselves to be a major player in the global market.”

Ruslan with a discerning eye for detail, leans forward slightly, his hands clasped on the table. “The four-wheeler market is getting crowded, especially with established brands expanding into the region,” he says, his voice calm but probing. “What makes Al-Farsi Motors unique? Why should customers choose your brand over more recognized names?”

Ms. Ibrahim steps in smoothly, her tone confident yet measured. “What sets us apart is our deep understanding of the Kingdom’s market and culture,” she explains.

“Our vehicles are designed with luxury and performance that appeal specifically to the tastes of our consumers. Additionally, we’re investing in a network of fast-charging stations across the country, which will give our customers unparalleled convenience. We’re not just selling cars; we’re selling a lifestyle.”

Harper raises an eyebrow, intrigued but still cautious. “Infrastructure is key,” he notes, tapping his fingers lightly on the table. “But expanding that network will require significant investment and logistical support. How do you plan to manage that, especially with competition from international brands that already have deep pockets?”

Ruslan looks at him, impressed by choosing the right partner for his businesses. He's smarter than him.

Mr. Al-Farsi nods thoughtfully before responding. “We’ve anticipated that challenge,” he says.

“Our strategy involves leveraging local partnerships to secure prime locations for our charging stations. We’re also working closely with the government’s Vision 2030 initiative, which is heavily focused on sustainability and innovation in the transportation sector. By aligning with national goals, we’re able to access resources that many of our competitors can’t.”

A hint of smile appears on Ruslan’s face as he processes this information. “I see,” he says, his tone warming. “You’re playing the long game. That’s smart—very smart. If your execution matches your vision, this could be something worth backing. But I’ll need to see more than just plans on paper. I want a detailed rollout strategy, and I’d like to visit your production facilities.”

Ms. Ibrahim nods with confidence. “We’re ready to provide all the details you need, Mr. Zenon,” she says. “Our production facility tour can be arranged at your convenience. Once you see the craftsmanship that goes into every Falcon, I’m confident you’ll understand why Al-Farsi Motors is poised to lead the luxurious four-wheeler market in the Kingdom.”

She assured him with a warm smile. The tension in the room softens as Mr. Zenon leans back in his chair, clearly more engaged and optimistic. “Alright,” he says, his voice more relaxed. “Let’s move forward with the due diligence. If everything aligns, we could be looking at a very promising partnership.”

As the conversation shifts to logistics and next steps, the room is filled with a renewed sense of purpose. The setting sun casts a golden light across the table, highlighting the faces of the four key players as they discuss the future of luxury four-wheelers in the Kingdom.

The tension between the two parties was eases now as they more delved into the business discussion.

Everyone stood up shaking hands with each other, a soft smile appeared on Mr. Farsi’s face.

“As expected and heard by many people, you never fail to impress someone,” Harper chuckles hearing him.

“I appreciate it,” He said, fixing his glasses and arranging all the documents.

“As you said, you would consider our proposal in a positive light. I truly hope we can work together.” The middle aged man said firmly, shaking his hand with Ruslan for the last time. “Nevertheless, it's been an honor to talk to you today. It has been a while since we've met.”

“Not at all! I should be the one thanking you for meeting with us on such short notice,” Ruslan says as Harper stood by his side.

“I'll contact you shortly after I discuss this with my wife and Rhodes Royal Directors. I'm sure she'll be delighted to hear this news!” A confused look on Mr. Farsi's face.

“Your wife? Oh you mean.. Evangeline?” He asks him, trying to remember her face.

“I've met her a few times before when she was a teen girl, she must be a young lady now.. haha!” He laughs.

“Since you'll discuss this matter with her, please mention us in a favorable way to her. Tell her how this partnership benefits us as well as the Kingdom.” Nervousness took over his face as he knew how her character is. Stubborn and Rude.

“She may not care about businesses and future management, so tell her–” Ruslan cuts him off in between.

“Mr. Farsi, why made you think that my wife would know nothing about businesses?”
