Chapter Three

"That brat!" Anticipation fills him as he continues clicking his pen syncing with each seconds the wall clock strikes. "You should get over it, Baba" Another voice answered as he takes a sip from the wine.

"Vijay!" He yells. "Doesn't' matters that it happened 19 years ago, till today also my blood boils!" He said breathing heavily, the old figure stood up and starts roaming around the room.

His room. Hidden one in his house. Where he only allows his son and some of his chosen people.

"He gave me his word, he told me he would divide the property, that's what the actual deal was," He stood in front of the large photo of his own in which he was more younger.

"What happened had happened nothing will change now," Vijay scrolls through his phone.

"It happened because of the old hag who just fuckingly gave up all the inheritance to the child. All!" He said standing still looking up at this picture as the lighting outside flashes creating a mere shadow over his wrinkled face.

Soon it started raining cats and dogs with wild storm, the temperature was cooler now. "Honestly for you Baba, I'm afraid to make friends, what if I become like you?" He said it with a chuckle. "Friends with benefits?"

"No one is true to anyone not to their own self, how can you find or become a loyal one to someone? Just because he's the "friend" the term you refer?" His father's voice was serious now. Low and deliberate as he continues speaking each words.

"Pranav Kumar Raichand was once at a time used to suck me for money, afterwards he became rich and he forgot me, and you know what?" He stated each words standing behind his son.

"The Udvita Corporation wasn't actually his plan or future, it was Mine. And the fucker stole it. Because I trusted him with everything!" He stomps his foot getting filled with rage thinking about the old days.

Thinking about his friendship was shattered into betrayal.

"So you took his blood brother and planned onto killing him?" Vijay looks up at him straight into his eyes as he rotates the executive chair to face his father who was standing.

"Why baba?" He asks his expressions curious. "Jo hona tha woh hogaya, agar aap chahte toh aap acche ban sakte the," he says getting up from the chair as he walks towards the door.

[What happened has happened, if you wanted to change then you could've been a good person]

"Kash aapki koi beti nahi hai, nahi toh aap usko khud hi maar dalte," he types the passcode, the door slides opens as he stepped out without even glancing back.

[Thank God, you don't have a daughter, or else you could've killed her with your own hands]

He knows his father's hatred towards daughters. The door swipes behind him as he left his father with many certain questions.

He hated his father no matter how much he tries to console his mind. His heart and himself.

He walks downstairs towards his room as he opened the door and plops down on the soft white mattress. Rubbing his forehead with his hand.

He is tired being with his father. For once in his life wanted to leave the underworld business and go far away from him but it would be of no use. He knew that.

The rain fell in torrents, each drop a cold, hard bullet if would hit against the skin. Vijay looks outside as he could feel how strong each of those raindrops are. He turned off all the lights just to be in dark and silent.

He takes his phone out as he stares at the display screen for some seconds. The wallpaper of his phone had a specific man.

He smiled like a psycho as he says. "Pata nahi aap kaha chale gaye. Lekin main aapko zaroor dhundh lunga, aapke pass mera kimti amanat jo hai,"
